Suspension & Steering Repair

We repair and replace suspension and steering components on almost every make and model. Suspension repairs start from £90. Shock absorbers, coil springs and wheel bearings start from £150. CV joints and driveshafts start from £180.

Half the work with a suspension fault is finding where the noise comes from and why. We diagnose before we replace parts. Guessing replaces good components and leaves the fault in place. Once we find the cause, we give you a written report and a price. We call you before doing any work that was not agreed.

Suspension and Steering Services

Suspension Repair · from £90

Suspension arms, bushes, drop links and anti roll bar components. Worn bushes cause knocking, vague steering and uneven tyre wear.

Shock Absorber Replacement · from £150

We replace shock absorbers in axle pairs so both sides of the car behave the same way. A worn damper increases stopping distances and lets the body roll and pitch more under braking.

Coil Spring Replacement · from £150

Broken springs usually fail at the lowest coil, often with no warning other than a clunk or a car sitting lower on one corner. We replace springs in pairs on the same axle.

Wheel Bearing Replacement · from £150

A failing bearing gives a hum or rumble that rises with road speed and changes when the car leans in a corner. On many modern cars the bearing is part of the hub and carries the ABS sensor ring, so we check the ABS signal after fitting.

CV Joints & Driveshafts · from £180

A clicking noise on full lock usually means a worn outer CV joint. A split boot lets grit in and grease out, and if it is caught early, a boot replacement can save the joint.

Uprated Components

We source and fit uprated suspension components for fast road and track use.

Suspension & Steering Services

Shock Absorber Replacement

Fitted as an axle pair for even damping and shorter stopping distances.

Coil Spring Replacement

Broken or sagging springs replaced in pairs to restore ride height.

Wheel Bearing Replacement

Fixes the hum that rises with speed. ABS signal checked after fitting.

CV Joints & Driveshafts

Cures clicking on full lock. Split boots replaced before the joint wears out.

Wheel Alignment After Suspension Work

We do not carry out wheel alignment in our workshop. Replacing arms, track rod ends, springs or shock absorbers can change the geometry. When the work we do affects alignment, we tell you on the written report so you can have it checked before tyre wear starts.

Parts and Guarantee

We fit parts that meet or exceed original equipment specification. All our work is guaranteed for a minimum of 12 months or 12,000 miles.
