Some parts of your car only need changing every few years, and the major service is where they all get done at once. It is the most complete service we offer, covering everything in our interim and full services plus the longer interval items that keep the car safe and running as it should.

Checks and Your Inspection Report
Alongside the parts, we carry out our basic safety checks, check and top up the fluid levels and check tyre tread and pressures. The brakes, tyres and lights are all inspected.
You get a detailed inspection report listing what we have done and anything you need to be aware of, backed up with photos or video. If we find something that needs attention, we call you before doing any extra work.
Difference Between a Major and Interim Service
An interim service is a lighter service that keeps the car on track between the bigger ones. It covers the oil and oil filter, the safety and fluid checks, the brakes, tyres and lights inspection and the inspection report.
A major service includes all of that and then goes further, replacing the air and cabin filters, the fuel filter, the spark plugs on petrol cars and the brake fluid. If your car is due these longer interval items, an interim service will not cover them.
Keeping Your Service History Intact
Every major service is carried out to your manufacturer’s schedule, with approved oil and parts that match the quality of the originals. When the work is done, we stamp your service book and add the service to the manufacturer’s online records. That keeps your manufacturer warranty valid and gives you a full service history when it is time to sell the car.
